Terms and conditions of ClickIQ, registered at Office 3, Maple Suite, Guardian House, Godalming, GU7 2AE.

These Terms of Use govern use of the ClickIQ website and services. By accessing and continuing to use the ClickIQ website and services after having an opportunity to review these Terms of Use, you accept the Terms of Use in their entirety and without modification. These Terms of Use constitute a binding agreement between (1) you and the company or organisation that employs you (collectively referred to as “you”, “your” and “Client”) and (2) ClickIQ (referred to herein as “ClickIQ” “we” “us” and “our”). If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, please do not use the ClickIQ website or services.

Licence to use service

Subject to and conditional upon your compliance with these Terms of Use, ClickIQ provides you with access to our website www.clickiq.co.uk (the “Site”) and grants to you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, right and license to use certain services and functionality we may make available to you from time to time via the Site or external application, including without limitation, an online job ad exchange service that enables you to upload and promote job ads via a network of websites. You will be and remain fully responsible and liable for the acts and omissions of all Users associated with your Client usage.


The ClickIQ Recruitment Marketing Platform features a network of online advertising media (“Media”) that ClickIQ selects and makes available from time to time. Selection of Media within the ClickIQ Media network is made in ClickIQ’s sole discretion. Media within the ClickIQ Media network may elect to display your job(s) to candidates on its platform or provide the job to its partner network to provide candidate traffic to your job. Nothing in these Terms of Use guarantees the display of your job to any or all of the medias’ candidate traffic nor does it guarantee candidates will apply for your job.

Ownership of data and data use:

Client Data shall remain the property of Client. On the Client's website ClickIQ may track, store and/or report user activities for the Client. Such data will typically be impressions, interactions (applies, registrations) and clicks and similar data related to user activities on the Client's website.

Proprietary Rights

The Site and all text, audio, video, pictures, music, images, graphics, web beacons, cookies, pixels, information, data, content, and other technologies or materials displayed or used on, or downloadable from, the Site or via the Services are the property of, or used with permission by, ClickIQ and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws and may not be used except as permitted in these Terms of Use or with the prior written permission of the owner of such material. You may not modify the ClickIQ IP in any way or reproduce or publicly display, perform, distribute or otherwise use any such ClickIQ IP for any public or commercial purpose. Any unauthorised use of ClickIQ IP may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, laws of privacy and publicity, or other laws, rules and regulations. You may not remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices from the Site or any ClickIQ IP. All rights to ClickIQ IP not expressly granted herein are reserved by and to the respective owners of such ClickIQ IP.

Certain trademarks, trade names, service marks and logos, icons and domain names used or displayed on the Site or via the Services are registered and unregistered trademarks, trade names and service marks owned by ClickIQ and/or our affiliates. Other trademarks, trade names and service marks used or displayed on the Site are the registered and unregistered trademarks, trade names and service marks owned by their respective owners and used with permission by us. Nothing grants or should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any trademarks, trade names, service marks or logos displayed on the Site or via the Services without our written permission or the written permission of such third-party owner.

You have and shall retain ownership of your User Communications. You declare and warrant to us that you are entitled to transmit, use or post User Communications and have all relevant licenses and consents from any relevant third parties. Further, we and our affiliates are free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in any User Communication you send via the Site or Service for developing, marketing and providing products and services. You further acknowledge and agree that we own all of the information we collect from job applicants, including information collected via cookies and web beacons regarding job ad views, job application starts and job application completions. Further, in no event will we publicly disclose any performance-related data specific to you.


You expressly agree that use of the site and services is at your sole risk. ClickIQ does not evaluate, screen or censor the applications submitted in connection with the services or the applicants themselves. ClickIQ is not involved in and does not control the transaction between a job applicant and you. Accordingly, ClickIQ is not responsible for your interaction with any person who contacts you, including job applicants, in connection with your use of the services or the site. The site and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to the site and services available at the site, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

We make no warranty that the site or services will meet your requirements, or that the site or services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, current, accurate, complete or error free. The warranty disclaimers set forth in this section do not apply to the extent prohibited by law. Please refer to your local laws for any such prohibitions.

Limitation of Liability

In no event will we be liable for any indirect consequential, incidental, punitive, special or similar damages (or damages from lost profits, interruption of business, lost data), whether forseeable or not, which may arise out of your access to, inability to access, or your use of, the site or services provided herein or resulting from unauthorised access to or alteration of your user communications.

Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, our sole liability for any reason to you, and your sole and exclusive remedy for any cause or claim whatsoever, shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the services during the three month period prior to any claim.

The limitations of liability set forth in this section do not apply to the extent prohibited by law. Please refer to your local laws for any such prohibitions.

ClickIQ contains links to external sites. ClickIQ is not responsible for and has no control over the content of such sites. Information on ClickIQ, or available via hypertext link from ClickIQ, is made available without responsibility on the part of ClickIQ. ClickIQ disclaims all responsibility and liability (including for negligence) in relation to information on or accessible from ClickIQ.


You acknowledge and agree that in connection with your use of the Site and/or the Services, you will have access to non-public information relating to the Services (“Confidential Information”), which Confidential Information is owned by and proprietary to ClickIQ. You will use the same care to protect the confidentiality of the Confidential Information as you use for your own similar information but in no event less than reasonable care. You will use Confidential Information only for the purpose of using the Site and Services as permitted by these Terms of Use. You will promptly return, provide a copy of, or destroy the Confidential Information upon request.


This Privacy Policy describes (i) the types of information we collect from you when you use the ClickIQ service (the “Service”); (ii) how we use the information we collect; (iii) with whom and why we share it; and (iv) the choices we offer regarding our use of the information. We also describe the measures we take to protect the security of the information and how to contact us about our privacy practices.

By accessing and continuing to use the Service after having an opportunity to review this Privacy Policy, you accept the Privacy Policy in its entirety and without modification and consent to our collection, use and sharing of the information as described herein. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

What Information Do We Collect?

Information You Provide Us

When you register as a user of the Service and at other times, you submit basic information such as your company name, email address, phone number and physical address. We also collect and maintain your user ID and password, which you create and provide to use. In connection with using the Service, from time to time, you will provide us with job openings and data regarding candidate sources, such as the source of impressions, applications and registrations. This information will be made available by the Client using a cookie or tag on the Client site.

Information Collected Through Technology

To provide the Service, we collect certain information from job applicants and the Client using automated means, such as cookies and web beacons. We use cookies and web beacons to collect information from job applicants when they click on an ClickIQ sponsored job ad at third party websites and when job applicants start and complete a job application at your website or a website operated by your applicant tracking system. The information we collect in this manner can include IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, and dates and times of site visits. A cookie is a text file that websites send to a user’s computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely identify the device and browser or to store information or settings in a browser. A web beacon, also known as an Internet tag or pixel tag, links web pages to web servers and their cookies and may be used to transmit information collected through cookies back to a web server.

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but browser settings can be changed to prevent these cookies from collecting information. Disabling cookies does not necessarily disable the use of pixel tags, web beacons and other technologies that collect information.

How Do We Use the Information We Collect?

We use the information you provide to us and the information we collect from job applicants for the following purposes:

  • Creating and managing your user account
  • Providing the Services to you, including publication of your job ads to third party media
  • Monitoring job applicants generated by ClickIQ sponsored job ads
  • Responding to and communicating with you about your questions and comments
  • Sending you news and updates about the Service
  • Operating, evaluating and improving our Service (including developing new services; managing our communications; and performing accounting, auditing, and other internal functions)
  • Performing data analyses
  • Complying with applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards and our policies

You acknowledge and agree that we own all of the information we collect from job applicants, including information collected via cookies and web beacons regarding job ad views, job application starts and job application completions. We may use such information for any purpose whatsoever in connection with our business; provided, however, that we will not sell such information to data brokers or any other third parties. Further, in no event will we publicly disclose any performance-related data specific to you.

Who Do We Share Information With?

We do not sell or otherwise disclose the information we collect, except as described in this Privacy Policy or otherwise disclosed when the information is provided. We may share your information with advertising and marketing partners for purposes of publishing your job ads and with other third parties who perform services on our behalf.

Compliance with Law and Safety

We will disclose the information we collect if we reasonably believe we are required to do so by law, regulation or other government authority. We may also cooperate with law enforcement agencies in any official investigation and we may disclose information to the relevant agency in doing so.

Corporate Transactions

We reserve the right to share information in connection with any corporate transaction, including any merger, consolidation, restructuring, the sale of stock and/or assets, or other corporate change or financing transaction including, whether during the course of any due diligence process or otherwise.

Data Storage and Security

Information security is important to us. The security of your information depends on your protection of your account user IDs and passwords. Please do not disclose your user IDs or passwords to unauthorised people. We use reasonable efforts to keep your information safe. Although we take reasonable precautions to protect your information, no website or Internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorised access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur.

Changes in Privacy Policy

From time to time we may update this Privacy Policy and will post a notice of any significant changes on our website. You should visit this page periodically to review any such changes to the Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Service will be subject to the terms of the then- current Privacy Policy.

Your Responsibility Regarding Privacy Disclosures

You are responsible for providing privacy notices to your job applicants, including notice that we are collecting certain information as described herein and any other notices required by applicable law.
